Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your best chance to make a strong first impression on buyers before they walk into your home. The pluses and minuses that jump out at buyers create their initial perception of your home and how you perform home's regular maintenance.
Acknowledging this helps us to choose what actions we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with refreshed paint and bright greenery we'll need to address those as well. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Could a buyer see themselves hanging out in your living area, relaxing in your spa tub or hosting a dinner in your dining room? We want your home to pleasantly accept buyers and give them a sense of comfort. I'll help you achieve this by recommending small improvements that highlight your home's features.
I'll help you take away items that give the look of clutter. Counter tops should be clutter-free. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and play time drawings should get moved out of sight. We need to give mass appeal to the house so buyers can picture it as their new place.
I'll review each room of your home. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to get changed, fixtures that need shining, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively influence the sale.
Working together, we'll make sure your house is appealing and that it's comfortable, staying away from "offensive" or "too-bright" shades on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can think about temporary furnishings. The goal is for your home to look homey as opposed to abandoned.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when you're ready to host an Open House, because all of the improvements mesh together to paint a picture of what buyers can expect when they consider buying your house. Lighting is important and we'll part the curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to show off your place. We'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing softly and ensure a pleasing aroma flows from every area. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your loveseat and bed. We want buyers to feel like your current place has the potential to be. |
